The week of December 2, 2012, we sent two of our Crown Bay Marina staff members to the invite-only Antigua Charter Yacht Show to kick off another exciting winter season in the Caribbean.
Each year, the annual six-day show attracts some of the largest, most prestigious luChristine from Crown Bay Marina with Marianne from Global Yacht Fuelxury yachts currently available for charter. Last month, in it’s 52nd consecutive year, there were nearly 100 motor and sailing yachts to admire. The impressive show once again hosted guests from all over the world, including professional charter brokers, some of the biggest names in yachting journalism and marine and service companies.
Our goal was to promote St. Thomas as the wonderful destination it is with its gorgeous and pristine surroundings, plentiful shore side attractions, and of course our luxury marina with it’s full spectrum of shore side faculties and new amenities, including our high speed Wireless Internet. We had the chance to talk with a lot of Captain’s and everyone was happy to hear about our recent Blue Flag Certification.
With so many influential people in the industry joining forces to showcase the spectacular, leading yachts in the market, the atmosphere was electric and inspiring.
We are looking forward to a brand new season and another fantastic year ahead with our staff and guests, both new and old.
